AKM Nazmul Haque, a meteorologist at the Meteorological Department, said that the current time can be called the farewell of winter.
In the remaining days of February, there may be rain in some areas of:
- Rangpur
- Rajshahi
- Mymensingh
- Dhaka
- & Sylhet
Also during this rainfall, the night temperature may increase by 1 to 2 degrees or even 3 degrees Celsius in different places and at that time there will be no feeling of winter among the people.
Besides, meteorologist AKM Nazmul Haque of the Meteorological Department said that there is no significant cold at the moment. Except for one station in Rangpur division, the night temperature of all the stations is above 10 degrees Celsius.
Overall, the feeling of winter is not prevailing in the country at the moment. Temperatures will continue to rise in the coming days.
He also said that usually when the temperature drops to 10 degrees or below, the feeling of cold is more. Again, if the night temperature and the wind is with it, then the feeling of winter is more. Now the pattern of the wind has also changed.
Now the north wind is not that prominent. Added to this is the south wind. So people do not have the opportunity to understand the feeling of winter clearly.
